Narrowly Newark is a community pop up gallery space based in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire. Narrowly’s ethos is to create an accessible space for artists of all abilities to have the opportunity to exhibit their work. This means there are zero costs to apply, zero costs to exhibit, zero costs for the public to attend and any profits made from artwork sold goes entirely to the artist.
It is ran by Sasha Silberman-Hanks and Callum Harrison. We encourage all abilities to apply and hope to support artists to feel more confident and comfortable with exhibiting their artwork.
Narrowly us a unique single end private terrace alleyway that leads into a private garden space. It displays artwork within nature and remains an alcohol free space promoting positive wellbeing for all in the community.
Narrowly opened its doors in 2024 and after 3 successful community exhibitions we have decided to give the opportunity to artists to curate the space and put on their own unique exhibitions.
